Question about EotE Ice and Death SPOILERS

Hello,

We played Ice and Death 2p in one session. We camped in Crystalline Cavern so no one wandered off and we skipped Part 2. In Part 3 the cluer went to Treacherous Path, got 4 clues, came back and we advanced. Two rounds, done and dusted. Did we do that right? It took 20 minutes to set up and 5 to play.

Bonus side question. Can Tony Morgan put bounties on the Seeping Nightmares? According to the timing the investigators are in place before the scenario set up.
