Can constipation cause night screaming?

Any experience with this? 8m old (EBF, solids) hasn’t passed a stool on days only tiny hard pellets.

Could this cause night screaming?

I can’t see why else she’s waking to several times for an hour at a time screaming, only thing that calms her is nursing (up until a few days ago she’d only fed once a night and never fed to sleep). Any experience with this?
