Travel Agency Virtual Assistant

Hello! I landed my first freelance client about a month ago, and I’m really enjoying the work so far. My boss often praises my work, and it made me realize that this might be a niche I’m actually good at.

However, since I’m still new to freelancing, I’m not exactly sure what this niche is called. The position I applied for was Customer Support Assistant, but my actual tasks are more focused on handling operations for a travel agency.

Here are some of the things I currently do:

• Research and create tour/experience listings

• Find stock photos for listings

• Upload tours to platforms like GetYourGuide and Viator

• Coordinate with tour providers and customers regarding bookings

• Update and manage our internal trackers

Because I really enjoy this work, I’d love to upskill and learn more about this field.

My questions are:

1.	What is this niche usually called in freelancing?

2.	Are there any courses, certifications, or training that focus on this type of work?
