Calling all matcha “experts”

Rate matcha all you want, but at least make the comparison apples to apples.

Something that confuses me with some matcha reviews/ranking…

They list different matcha brands and rank them saying this one is okay, this one is not good but then the drinks being compared aren’t even the same! One is a plain matcha latte and the other one has flavors added.

At that point, how are you really judging the quality of the matcha?

If you’re reviewing matcha quality, it should be based on a standard matcha latte not a flavored one.

Posting a list of matcha brands and rating them doesn’t make much sense when a strawberry matcha latte ends up scoring higher than someone else’s plain matcha latte.

Even if you’ve been drinking matcha for years, the credibility really comes from HOW you evaluate it. 🍵
