You are the only person I respect at work

I’ll call you a friend. Even though you don’t respect me. You know I look up to you, you are NOT my peer. You are so talented it pisses me off, you are at a level I DREAM to reach.

It’s very clear how you feel about me. You will use me and I will let you. I don’t know why. I’m nice? Naive? Desperate for the approval of someone I respect?
