Gekiranger Episode 48

In the beginning of the episode, there was a recap where Rio and Mele redeem themselves after defeating Long for now and eventually work together with the Gekirangers. Rio wants to follow his own path and does love Mele. Jan-san wants the two to join SCRTC, however Ran-san and Retsu-san are very indifferent due to Rio and Mele’s severe wrongdoings and their times as enemies. The only way as Rio proposed was a Trial by Fist.

My opinion on this was, I wasn’t happy about this, because I felt that Rio and Mele really did feel bad for what they done and want to go their own ways. Jan-san wanted them to join their team. The way Ran-san and Retsu-san were hostile made me angry and ask myself, “Why? Why can’t you forgive their mistakes? I know they what they did was severe, but they were manipulated by Long. That’s not fair.” What do you guys think?
