Blacked screened when I opened a game

so i downloaded a game in ankergames(project zomboid) and it was working the other day but now it just keeps black screening everything I open it, I can still move my mouse but it just doesn't exit out,I tried to alt f4/open task manager/refresh my graphics driver but nothing worked so im forced to force shutdown i tried for like 5 times now... I reinstalled it to see if it works just for the same problem. im kind of a noob pirating games lol.
