COROS Pace 3 HR not updating correctly during daily tracking

PACE 3 🎽

I am facing an issue with my COROS Pace 3 where the heart rate readings during normal daily use do not update correctly. This seems to affect only everyday HR tracking and not activity tracking. When I start an activity, the HR readings appear accurate.

For example, if I start strength training and continue for about 30 minutes without starting a workout on the watch, the watch still shows my HR around 60 bpm. I know this is incorrect because my actual HR is closer to 100 bpm or higher.

If I open the HR widget, the watch immediately starts taking a new reading and then updates to the correct HR. Something similar happens after I finish training. The watch may continue showing a high HR for a long time even though my HR has already come down. Again, if I open the HR widget or run a wellness check, it takes a new reading and corrects itself.

So it seems like the watch is not automatically refreshing HR readings properly during daily tracking.

I have already tried resetting the watch and changing the watch face, but the issue still persists.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting I might be missing, or could this be a bug?

TLDR:

Daily HR tracking on my COROS Pace 3 does not update correctly. It shows stale readings until I open the HR widget or run a wellness check. Activity HR seems accurate. Looking to see if others have the same issue.
