Hey. I am seeking advice. I moved into a new apartment and was one of the first tenants, so I enjoyed a month of peace. However, when my new neighbor moved in, that quickly went away.

I learned that my bedroom wall shares the same wall as his kitchen. I then found out that I can hear his microwave through my walls—literally everything, from him pushing the buttons to him putting the plate in the microwave and the sound of it running. I can hear everything he does.

The other night I heard his alarm clock go off. This is just an example of what I’ve been hearing.

I emailed the property management and didn’t get a response. I ended up calling him and got a vague response. I emailed him twice after that and still have not received a response.

Any advice? The thought of moving is driving me crazy, and the thought of staying there is doing the same. I hate this for me.
