Issues with Application

Has anyone had success applying for a position once the posting has been closed?

Context- I only saw the position today, closing at midnight. I dove into updating resume as soon as I got home from work; however every time I went to add my resume it would timeout, log out and erase all information. I would have to start from the beginning again. HR was closed however I’ve emailed and will call 7am Monday. I’m so sad.
