Are People Who Themselves Believe in Jesus but NOT that He is the ONLY Way Saved?
I have a lot of family members, including parents, who fall into this category. I find it incredibly upsetting and frustrating because I keep telling them Jesus is the only way to Heaven but they just refuse, refuse, refuse to accept this, even while they Themselves claim to be "devout" (seems dubious to me) Christians.
This isn't even getting into other issues they're off on like the idea that abortion and same-sex "marriage" should be legal; they just generally have very little regard for historic Christianity.
I obviously myself don't feel I'm in any position to speak in certain terms about whether these family members are saved but my honest take is that from what I am seeing out of them, the prognosis isn't good.
Ultimately, it doesn't show much reverence for Jesus if someone thinks other non-Christian God's can save people. And it doesn't show much regard for God's Word when you're taking positions in direct conflict with it.
More than anything, I guess I just need an outlet to vent.
Thanks all for listening.
Any words would be helpful.
