We all have been talking about creating an impact in the country aren't we people? But without proper organisation, planning and management, it is impossible to do so in any case. As an individual, as an organisation or as a group of like minded peers. But once we begin with proper planning, sure commitments along with timely execution, the sky is the limit. This is what has been happening in history. Planned uprisings, movements, experiments, social awareness; made the drastic and required changes for our society to accept new systems and flourish and this same process is what is required in the current times of nation building. So that history repeats itself!
At NYA that is the National Youth Alliance, we are a group of "kids" trying to organize and become the future that we wish to see, to live and experience. We wish to be the hope this planet requires.
How do we exactly plan on doing this? It's simple, With the most accessible tools which we have in hand and by following a few basic responsibilities as citizens and humans I.e. the most intelligent species on the planet. We have started out by reaching out like-minded peers all over India with the help of social media by writing blogs, creating awareness content, gathering individuals with skills meaning to contribute and meaning to establish a harmonious and beautiful future in which all thrive. The younger sections of our society are being severely undermined while expressing their opinions since the beginning. They expect us to be the future but do not let us think or speak about the wrongdoings happening in the present. We will help you and provide you with a platform to express your ideas opinions and thoughts about governance, civic topics, policy making and managing the country. We want everyone to be heard. We wish to make this awareness reach beyond the metro cities and provide platform to young minds who are creative from all the corners of India, from the towns to the, villages to the smallest settlements. We want to showcase their achievements regarding governance and encourage self reliance to fix the system, the wrongs around them instead of begging for help to adults who would not take them seriously. We want all to be aware and make this a mass movement so that we can govern the future. The future which is truly ours, which belongs to us and must not be written without our inputs and opinions.
We are building a network of accountable and responsible activists who will act on plans and bring real transformations. Not the generation who will be stressed out about what's coming, not the one who will only hold hollow discussions and have agressive behaviour towards each other. We do not want a violent revolution instead we want a silent resolve of bringing small changes on individual levels, bringing larger impacts and as the group grows shaking the broken systems to their core, forming new ones and breaking the chains by which our motherland is being limited.
We want to promote leaders who are actually the servants of the people, who work for the betterment of not only themselves, but for all. We shall internalize a pledge of anti-corruption whether it be just the group for now or in the near future as we gain support. While promoting real accountability and responsibility, we will be giving the new generation the reins of directing its future. We do not want to show off and celebrate larger than we act. We will be creating real stricking change rather than gathering as an incoherent crowd and screaming at the top of our lungs to prove our points. We want to show the older generation that we are responsible and can handle the future at half the maturity they have, yet they are messing up. We want this system to stay alive and live up to the expectations we all have from it, not die of the irresponsible behaviour of a fistful of people who thought of themselves first, instead of this nature, this earth that sustains us. We do not want to inherit a hollow democracy eaten up by the woodlice of greed and malice, we want it to be the system that is thriving, that ideal version which the majority of us see on social media, imagine or think they live in, that thought solely being a delusion.
We are not a classic mock parliament held at high-school and college levels, where we only win debates or act out what we would do if we were in the system. We are not here to be proud of false achievements. We maybe primarily a youth organization. But we wish to give a sigh of relief to all who want a change.
