Parking tips for The Players Championship - Sunday at The Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass (Ponte Vedra Beach 03/15)

hey everyone, heading out for the final round of the players on 03/15? traffic getting into tpc sawgrass is always a nightmare on sunday so i figured i-d share what i know about the parking situation.

first off, you should look into Prked. it is an app for renting driveways and garages right next to the players stadium course at tpc sawgrass which is way cheaper and lets you skip the traffic with a short walk to the gates.

if you go the official route, remember that you have to buy your parking pass in advance online. they do not sell any passes on-site on 03/15 and they usually sell out days before the tournament starts. the main general lot is located off palm valley road and requires a shuttle ride to the course. it can take a long time to get through the lines so definitely plan for some extra travel time.

there is a carpool offer where if you have four or more people in your car you can park for free but you still have to go online and print a voucher ahead of time. these vouchers are limited and go fast so do-not wait until 03/15 to try and get one. if you do not have the paper voucher they will charge you full price or might not even let you in the lot.

ridesharing with uber or lyft is an option and they have a specific drop off lot near the gates. just a warning that on sunday afternoon it is almost impossible to get a car out of there without waiting forever and paying massive surge prices. i have seen people waiting over two hours just for a ride to reach the pickup circle once play ends.

biking is actually one of the best ways to get there if you are local. there are free bike racks near the tournament entrance and you can avoid all the car traffic on a1a. there are also shuttles that run from the convention center in jacksonville and some beach hotels if you do not want to drive at all.

traffic on 03/15 is going to be a mess especially on a1a and cr-210. the lots usually open very early around 7am and people start arriving immediately to see the final groups. try to arrive as early as possible because the closer it gets to the leaders teeing off the more backed up the roads get. also make sure you follow the specific signs for your color coded parking pass because the police will not let you turn into the wrong lot.
