Help Making a working Lava Chicken House [bedrock] [lavachicken]

My eldest has been trying to make a working lava chicken house after watching the Minecraft movie for months. He works super hard on it then gets upset when the chicken cooking mechanism doesn't quite work.

Has anyone found a YouTube tutorial or instructions that work for Bedrock?

He's tried these:

This one looks promising but also technical?

It would be so good to get a video that definitely works.

Thank you
