I have no shame telling you all my drama even if he eventually sees this online…my girlfriend’s brother is a body builder competing in numerous events throughout the year with around 40k instagram followers. He works part time less than 30 hours a week because he is so obsessed with working out and playing video games. His mom travels overseas for 3 months on a yearly basis to catch up with family. He has no responsibilities being 31 years old living rent-free at her house other than his car payment.

My girlfriend got a random call from his brother about a month ago saying that I messed up, I spent a lot of money on Pokemon cards and mom’s account is currently negative $5,000 plus overdraft fees. She refused to call him out demanding him to liquidate these purchases to make her account back positive. I advised her to tell him to liquidate the cards since he created this problem. She instead borrowed money from her boss to make her mom’s checking account whole. I asked her for why she chose this route and she said mom is not here in the states so she had to help fix this.

I removed her from my $1M life insurance policy secretly bc she thinks about others too much in a wrong way when they are in the wrong. I have made the conclusion that she would be broke in a few years just like lottery winners giving this sudden windfall away if I croak suddenly. AITAH
