Question regarding IHS fee when applying for UK non spousal visa, really asking opinions actually!

I am planning on applying for the UK non spousal visa in the near future with my boyfriend who is a UK citizen. I was just curious regarding how anyone has gone about the fees regarding the visa. Did you and your partner split the Visa fee and the IHS fee? I am wondering what people end up doing. The IHS fee is for yourself (applicant) and your healthcare when on Visa in the UK, so does one think it is best for just the applicant to pay for this themselves? Split everything? Just the Visa fee? What does everyone think?
