Question About 25000 Mile Service on 2019 Roadking

So, I purchased this bike at 23,000 miles and have loved every second of riding it. When I bought it, the guy at the service center wanted to sell me the 3 year Service package and said that I should because at 25,000 miles they have to do fork maintenance. I told him I'd make a decision about it once I hit 25,000, which is now. I was looking online and it seems that the forks should have been serviced at 20,000. Do different dealerships service at different intervals? Or do you think they just wanted me to buy the package?
