Should I prioritize building my emergency fund or start investing in a Roth IRA?
For context, I started working my first full time job a few months ago and have a high yield savings account for my emergency fund. I heard that it’s good to start investing in your Roth IRA as soon as possible and to max it out, but I’m currently focusing on building my emergency fund in my HYSA and want it to be at least 15k which I expect to be that amount early next year.
Do you suggest focusing on the emergency fund first and then contribute to my Roth IRA later on or to start contributing to my Roth IRA as soon as I can?
