Can't speak to my friends anymore

Why can't I talk to my friends anymore? When I first met them it was all good and I could make conversations but after a while and 3 years of living together I just have nothing to say. I hate myself for it so much. I can only deal with deep personal conversations but I don't know how to talk about general topics. When you know someone so well there's nothing more to learn about them other than having general conversations and that's what I can't do. My brain just goes blank. My friends even get frustrated that I can't carry a conversation.
