Be careful of Dr. Syed Ahsan, MD at Kaiser Anaheim

He walked into the room and diagnosed me with PPPD despite doing no physical examination and me not having any type of tilt test or visual test at Kaiser since 2022

I know this may be something I have in addition to something else, but I do not fit the diagnostic criteria currently in place for this disorder and I am concerned that he feels comfortable diagnosing it without doing any type of an examination

I am honestly worried that Kaiser Permanente doctors has started using this diagnosis inappropriately and just want to recommend any female patients who get paired with this doctor to run far far away

I’m not gonna go into the long story except to say that I ended up terminating the appointment. He followed me to the door. He continued to berate me. After I screamed, because I started having a panic attack, for him to back away from me he did not back away until I said it a second time.

I have filed a formal complaint against him but I know that he is one of the only doctors patients with dizziness get sent to at Kaiser in the Anaheim area

After looking him up (unfortunately after my appointment), I found another female patient had left a review that she had to terminate her appointment due to inappropriate agressive behavior
