In this particular scene of the drama "Zhu Yu " Chasing Jade - Pursuit of jade the head piece worn by Zhang Linghe is so talked about , many people wondering what it is ? What is its significance and what does it showcases ?

* **Lingzi (Pheasant Feathers):** The most striking feature is the two long, trailing feathers known as *Lingzi*. Historically, these are pheasant tail feathers. In Chinese opera and traditional military costuming, they are used to signify high-ranking generals, legendary warriors, or characters with exceptional martial prowess.
* **Guan (Headpiece/Crown):** The base is a golden or metallic crown (Guan) used to secure the hair. For a general, this often has a more rugged or ornate "battle-ready" design compared to the delicate crowns worn by scholars or royalty.
* **Symbolism:** The use of *Lingzi* is often associated with the legendary general **Lu Bu** from the *Romance of the Three Kingdoms* or the **Monkey King (Sun Wukong)**. In modern dramas, it is a visual shorthand for a character who is powerful, rebellious, or a formidable leader on the battlefield \*So did you know about this before and its significance ? , despite being a c drama watcher and having watched many c dramas before I still didn't what it meant and had to do my research on this topic , C dramas actually make me learn quite a lot of Chinese culture and its beauty , Always learning something new while watching them
