Building something wild this weekend.

Building something wild this weekend.

Nous Research launched the Hermes Agent Hackathon -- build something unique, creative, and useful with their open-source AI agent framework. $7,500 for first place.

My entry: Glippy Swarm.

It's an autonomous GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) visibility operations platform. Seven AI agents working together to answer a question every brand will be asking in 2026:

"When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini about our industry... do we get cited?"

Here's what the swarm does:

  • Scout queries live AI platforms via browser automation to check who gets cited
  • Crawler audits your site's content, structured data, and technical signals
  • Investigator does forensic analysis on competitor pages that ARE getting cited
  • Web Presence Tracker maps your brand's mention footprint across the web -- the "training data signal" that shapes AI citation behavior
  • Analyst scores everything into a Citation Readiness Score (0-100)
  • Optimizer uses multi-model reasoning to literally ask AI models: "Would you cite this page? What's missing?"
  • Reporter delivers intelligence via Telegram/Discord with personality

The whole system runs on autopilot, learns from every cycle, and creates its own analysis skills over time.

It uses all 18 Hermes Agent tool categories: browser automation, multi-model reasoning, persistent memory, subagent delegation, cron scheduling, web search, vision analysis, image generation, and more.

The core insight behind Glippy Swarm: AI visibility isn't just about technical SEO. It's about content depth, authority signals, web presence, and understanding what makes AI models trust and cite a source. The system covers all of it.

Built on the Glippy concept I've been developing as part of my GEO toolkit at Glippy.dev

Deadline is Sunday. Time to build.
