Here is one of my universe's superhero teams: The Infinites: the Globe's Finest Heroes!

After teaming up to defeat a world-threatening foe, 6 heroes from separate origins and careers created a permanent alliance in order to help defend the world from threats that a single hero cannot defeat alone. Based in Chicago, these heroes help defend the world, promote peace and equality, and stand as icons of justice, hope, and fair play.

The 6 founding/main heroes are (from left to right):

1. **Andrei Ceban/Oculus**: The most intelligent hero out of the 6, Oculus is a valuable member who's brain and resulting inventions provide much help for when tech is needed. Born in Cluj-Napoca, Oculus gained his powers from a failed experiment to cure hi eye cancer via an energy machine. The machine worked, yet turned his eyes into unstoppable Cyclops-esque energy conduits, only being controlled by specialized visors he invented that can turn said energy into other types of vision powers. Despite being depressed most of the time due to his inability to fully control his powers, he still stays strong, helping when he can and using his powers for good, rather than let it stay as a curse and a reminder of his desperation.

2. **Archangel Michael**: Yes, you heard it first, folks! The Bible is true (to an extent, and so are most other religions), and Michael is both a powerful and loyal member of the Infinites! After the then-misanthropic and faith-losing Michael was kicked out of heaven by a powerful Lucifer during his second attempt at taking over Heaven and the crown of Jehovah the Father (God), he gains help from his love interest Shannon von Hagen, who helps him regain his hope in humanity, allowing him to power again and rise back to heaven with God's help, defeating Lucifer again and helping Heaven rise again. He eventually crosses paths with the Infinites, helping them defeat their villain and form the team. As one of the most powerful magic users, he brings faith and hope to the other 5, providing values while continuing to learn from them the complicated beauty of humanity.

3. Syndey Swift/Velocitrix: The youngest and 2nd most intelligent of the 6, Velocitrix is a happy-go-lucky and spunky girl from London who gained super speed, as well as permanently pink-dyed hair, after drinking a serum she created to help cure the neurodegenerative disease that was slowly killing her and took her mother's life years ago. Using her new powers and her love for the scene aesthetic and skating, she formed a new superhero persona, speed-skating through London as a pink blur, saving lives and defeating villains in minutes! Despite being smart in chemistry and a heroic figure, she is the most immature, making fast actions without thinking and causing more damage than needed. However, she would also be a representation of youth heroics and anti-authority, an icon who shows how anyone can be a hero, while she also learns from her more-mature members bout how to truly be a hero, especially with Oculus, who she sees as an older brother.

4. Rebecca Ji-an Park/Pumagirl: She is the de facto leader and the only power-lacking hero of the 6, yet is proof that powers aren't always needed to be one. Born to North Korean refuges, Rebecca would rise as one of the best WNBA players of her time, playing basketball as if it was unnatural for humanity to achieve this kind of skill. However, she would stop when she was faced with the news of her best friend, Kira Karter, being killed by gangsters that she began to investigate alongside the corruption within the city. After months of temporary retirement, which she trained her body and martial arts skills as well as preparing a new suit and array of gadgets, she came back changed. In the day, she was still former WNBA player turned wealthy philantropist and role model Rebecca Ji-an Park. However, at night, she would transform into the strong and disciplined, albeit confident and flirty, Pumagirl. Years into hero vigilante career, she would help form the Infinites, which also led her to a new era of more "fantastical" villains and threats in her then-grounded street level life. Despite being the least powerful, she still stands as a leader, helping lead the others into action, just like her old days of basketball, while also learning her limits and to gain help when she truly needs to.

5. Santiago Morales de la Cruz: Mexico City's own superman, Don Luna is one of the strongest superheroes in the world, as well as the heartful brawn of the Infinites. His superhero persona wouldn't start out as a hero, but as his moniker for his luchador career, as he was one of the best wrestlers in Mexico. Don Luna would originally be known as a wealthy sports icon, rather than the hero we know today, yet like most luchadores, he would also keep his identity secret from the public, with his family and few trusted people knowing of his true humble origins in his family's ranch. However, an encounter with a space crystal transformed his entire body, giving him superman-esque powers, which were, ironically, amplified by the moon. Giving up his lucha career due to his now overpowered abilities, he would begin his new superhero life, saving the lives of millions from cartel crime and fantastical threats as well as campaigning for peace and prosperity in Latin America. Despite his achievements and his near invincibility, he was not safe from mental attacks, as years of facing the cruel nature of crime during both his childhood and during missions traumatized the hopeful man, making him question his life decisions and if he truly deserved his powers. Now as a member of the Infinites, he finds further comfort in his new family as well as a team he can rely on when even he cannot save the world by himself, especially with Pumagirl, who both relate as former sports icons with crime-ridden origins and a desire to fight crime and promote peace.

6. Aelvoria Thal'Kir (Alphonsine Cleo)/the Sapphire Sorceress: One of the most powerful witches in the universe, she was trained from a young age to become one of the most powerful of her race and take up the throne of the Vyr'Lun Empire. However, due to political and emotional turmoil in the royal family, she would leave out of stress and disgust and set sail for a new home, traveling around the galaxy. Landing on Earth, she would set home in Paris, France, using magic to mask herself as a normal human, taking up the name Alphonsine Cleo. When not working as an accountant in her human life, she suits up, traveling across Europe to defeat a variety of magical and fantastical threats, which she allies with Velocitrix, another fellow European superhero. As a member of the Infinites, her no-nonsense, yet caring and motherly attitude brings a sense of humility and protection. As well as her close relationship with Velocitrix, she also shares a bond with Archangel Michael, which also becomes on-again, off-again romantic sometimes.

These 6 heroes help defend the world, and sometimes, the universe from grave dangers, while also acting as a family for each other, despite starting out as "coworkers."

Hope you all enjoy! Feel free to ask me any questions!
