NordicTrack 1750 vs Horizon 7.0AT — is iFIT actually worth it?

Hi all, I’m choosing between the NordicTrack 1750 and the Horizon 7.0AT and would love some real-world opinions.

The main thing tempting me towards the NordicTrack is iFIT. I’ve read that the trainer-led workouts make treadmill running less boring, and I really like the idea of the treadmill automatically adjusting speed and incline during runs.

The Horizon seems like the more basic, no-fuss option. I could just stick my iPad on it and run, which is fine, but obviously it’s not the same experience.

I run about 10k 3–4 times a week, so this wouldn’t be occasional use.

For people who’ve had either of these for a while:

  • Is iFIT actually engaging long-term, or does the novelty wear off?
  • Is the 1750 worth the extra money?
  • Or is the Horizon 7.0AT good enough and the smarter buy?

Thanks.
