Streaming platforms should offer the option to censor explicit content for public viewing or at least provide timestamps for easy skipping. (Gym, coffee shop, library, etc.)

With how ubiquitous wifi and electronic devices are these days, many people are now consuming tv series out in public, whether in the gym while working out, at a coffee shop during lunch break, or in a school library while de stressing from physical chemistry.

In a post-GOT world, the television landscape is just flush with explicit sexual content across most popular series, and it’s becoming harder to view these shows without a complete disregard for proper etiquette.

I’ve seen so many people using treadmills and watching full frontal nudity and sex scenes on their phones and ipads. Some of them do try to skip it but it’s usually after those scenes have already popped up on their screens.

I personally avoid watching TV MA shows in public because i dont want to be scrambling trying to skip these scenes. I would love to be able to watch my HBO shows in public because i just dont have time to do so at home.

It would be amazing if streaming platforms introduced optional features that censor explicit content or mark/flag timestamps when such scenes occur so users know what to skip before a dong comes out.
