I will finally get a sleep test

Insurance/Healthcare

I have a narcolepsy diagnosis based on family history and symptoms (hypersomnia, sleep attacks, cataplexy, disautonomia). Plus, I had an in-homemsleep test and didn't have severe sleep apnea. Having a diagnosis allows me to recieve treatment, but I can't have oxybates.

I originally was on pharmaceuticals that I couldn't just go off of for a couple of weeks, and I couldn't be on them for a sleep test but I've weened off of them.

So now, I can have the full sleep test. But I'm sure feeling worried they're going to find I don't actually have narcolepsy, and go back to telling me it's anxiety. Then maybe my insurance won't pay for my medications anymore. I think I shpuld do it, but I'm a wreck.
