I love it when I watch my favorite and comfort films again and again and see small details and also learn about the small details :)

Special Interest Saturday

Mostly horror movies but also some other genres. Recently I watched the second time the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre I saw for the first time over one year ago and the movie is brutal but one of my favorites. I love special effects and props in horror movies :) and I'm interested to know how they were made, how the props were gotten and who worked behind the settings and such. Like Robert Englund, Freddy Krueger himself, worked in the sets of Halloween 1978 film and was responsible for the dry leaves as the film was directed during Spring in California even though it takes place in Illinois during Halloween. I'm chatting in Texas Chainsaw Massacre social media sites to find out how exactly they got small props and other stuff. I know the big props and stuff like Leatherface's masks, the chainsaw, the houses etc. but small details are interesting. Kind of funny when I watched Halloween 1978 for the 8th time, I decided to learn about Jolly Time popcorn because one of the characters is making that brand in the movie.

Oh, and my comfort movies:

Halloween 1978

The Nightmare before Christmas

And maybe not Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974, but I'm interested to see it more

Do you have comfort movies?
