Clubs don't even weigh a cent on your CV
Rn in 4th sem, gave 4 interviews for a Next.js full stack intern last month and came to the realisation that clubs are waste of time.
I mentioned all the best clubs like MUN, PR & Media, but neither of the interviewers showed any interest into them. Instead, I had mentioned in my CV my personal gigs like providing JEE Chemistry sessions to youtubers that reached to 50k students, my freelance experience and YT channel. They were much more interested in those things and a couple of them were really impressed by it.
After grinding for 2 years selflessly, the return I got from these clubs has been almost zero, besides a couple of good seniors that I got connected to through these clubs.
So guys, just start working on your side gigs. Learning a new language, building your YT channel/IG page or freelancing is much more valuable than slogging your ass for these clubs. I have left all of them to pursue my content creation ick properly now.
Maybe they might have some gravity in on-campus interviews, but oh boy, off campus, neither do this college, nor do it's club have any significance (which was somewhat expected, so yeah, no surprises there)
