Stress?

Has anyone ever started their period like 5 days early? I randomly started mine 5 days early (I’m new to tracking my periods, as I was on bc before and it had stopped them completely.) I googled the issue and it seems that super high stress or a traumatic event can trigger it to come early. I’ve been super stressed since we just had to put our cat down. I guess that’s why I started early but I had no idea stress could do that.
