Have you ever wondered why some words feel effortless while others make you stumble? We just launched a major update to the [**Typostat.com**](http://typostat.com/) results screen to help you see exactly how you type.

**The "Heartbeat" of Your Typing**

Most charts just show you a generic average. Our new chart shows the **burst speed** of every single letter. You can literally see the "rhythm" of your fingers—the quick spikes where you’re in the flow and the dips where you’re thinking about the next word.

**What’s new?**

* **The Red Pen Treatment:** If you make a mistake, we don't just give you a red dot. We **strike through** the character on the bottom of the chart. It looks just like a marked-up exam, showing exactly where you lost your momentum.
* **Full Transparency:** Every character you typed is laid out on the X-axis, including spaces (marked as `⎵`). This lets you see if your speed drops during transitions between words or if you're hitting your spacebar with a consistent rhythm.
* **Hover for Data:** Hover over any dot to see your exact WPM for that specific character. It’s a great way to identify your "problem" letters or the combinations that slow you down.
* **Mathematically Honest:** We calculate your accuracy based on every single key you hit. It’s a precise, no-nonsense score of your performance.
