I just wanted to share my frustrating experience with the Eufy E18 robot lawn mower in case others are running into the same issue, or if someone has a fix I haven't tried yet.

No matter what I do, the mower consistently ignores patches of uncut grass, even grass it has already detected and mapped. I can clearly see these areas in the app as part of the lawn map, the grass is well within a detectable height, yet the mower just... skips them entirely. My only workaround is manually using the remote control function to guide it over those spots myself, which kind of defeats the purpose of a *robot* mower.

On top of that, some patches of grass aren't even being detected in the first place and won't get added to the map at all.

What I've already tried:

* Deleted and remapped the lawn multiple times (still the same result)
* Checked that the grass is clearly long enough to be detected
* Contacted Eufy support — unfortunately they weren't much help and didn't offer any real solution

**I**'ve attached some photos of me manually controlling it, you can clearly see the uncut patches**.**

For the price of this device, this is genuinely disappointing. It feels like a core functionality issue, if the mower can detect and map grass but then chooses not to cut it, that's a serious software or navigation bug. And when support can't even provide a meaningful fix, it makes it even more frustrating. I've reset the map multiple times hoping it would resolve itself, but no luck.

Has anyone else run into this? Did you find a workaround or did it ever get resolved through a firmware update? At this point I'm not sure what else to try.
