Adam Sandler movie Click

Hey y'all, click is a really cool movie and it's got a deep meaning that I think is very relavant to our community. Before reading this you should probably watch the whole movie but the main jist of it is he fast forwards his life, and at the beginning it was just one day or two days, just to skip boredom, to skip booring days at work and skip to the weekend and eventually he loses control and he starts skipping weeks, months then years. Sounds familliar?

Life for me and for a lot of people has started to become like this where we find ourselves almost waking up and being like what the hell have i done for the past while. I see a lot of posts in this subreddit saying i wasted my 20s or i'm 25 and everythings ruined. I've made posts like that and maybe will again but the movie just shows how easy it is to slip in life.

In the movie, his remote for fast forwarding was actually broken so in the end he couldn't even control his life and how much he's fast forwarding. Sound familliar? It sounds like my brain that's kinda messed up and not working how I want it to.

The uplifting part is when he woke up at 30, 40, 50 and even 70 he never gave up hope and started picking up the mess of his life. He tried and that maybe shows that whatever point we are in, no matter how fucked up it is, there's still a way up or a way down and it's on us to chose up.

Even more uplifting part is when he wakes up in a bed in his 20s again and it was all a dream. Then he realised that skipping forward is not the way and its better to just live. Definitely messed up the explaination but its like theres all these posts saying I'm fucked and all. I feel that too but we are where we are. And it may be fucked, we may have ruined everything we had but it doesn't have to mean our futures fucked. Imagine the you in 10 years time wakes up in the you today. He would be one grateful guy because he gets a do over. Maybe thats the attitude to adopt?

Lots of love!!
