Question about optimus

So I purchased a max 16. It has a 275hx paired with a 5090 and Intel as the igpu. I've noticed the system hiccup when exiting games. I'm guessing this is due to changing power profiles, transition to the igpu, but it's very obvious. Is this normal? I tried the max 16 amd hx375 with a 5080 and it didn't do this. Transition was seamless.
