Warning about a bug with the sanctums

DO NOT DO THEM BEFORE YOU MEET THE WITCH OF WISDOM!!!

I did the Sanctum of Penitence before I knew it was apart if a quest. After I had already completed it, I saw where it said I needed to meet someone in order to complete it. After I met the witch and got the quest I went back and it wouldn't work. Nothing was lit up other than the column top I put into place. So I saved and reloaded to find that everything was lit up and working but the column top was nowhere to be found. Not on the column where I put it nor floating in the ruins. Now I'm hard locked out of completing the whole quest line.

If anyone has any ideas or fixes please do let me know!!!
