How do I stop gmail.com from bringing me to “addmailservice” ?

I have my main youtube account with an old @hotmail.com. When I want to answer emails on my gmail account, I go to “gmail.com” but instead it brings me to an “add gmail to your google account” screen that I’m stuck on included in the comments. It’s referencing the hotmail account but I just want to login with gmail.

If I CCC, it works normally. Thank you
