[M4F] Doc's Profile - things you'll probably want to know if you've found this post
Housekeeping stuff here, nothing fancy. Will add or edit as needed.
-
I'm a guy in my 30s from Europe, and you can call me Doc.
-
I only play on Discord. RIP orange envelopes.
-
Not a hard rule, but I strongly prefer past tense, third person narration.
-
I usually reply couple to few times a day (more if I'm having a slow day) to once every couple days (if I'm particularly busy), quality over quantity, essence over word count. Shorter and more dynamic messages during interactive scenes (sex, dialogues, action); longer and less frequent ones for descriptive or one-sided parts.
-
I strongly advocate for OOC communication. We're collaborating over a story, not wrestling for the steering wheel of it, so let's do brainstorming and talk contentious points out behind the curtains, and not do an exquisite corpse with writing itself. And - even if I don't have time or mental energy to write a proper reply, I still try to check my messages and reply OOC every now and then.
-
We're not our characters, DPP ain't Tinder. We aren't close friends either, unless we get there naturally. Discussions, banter, questions - especially if relevant to the story - are okay; but let's not pry into each other's private lives more than necessary.
-
Hard limits: pedophilia, writers and characters being or acting as persons under 19.
-
Soft limits: excessive violence (permanent, irreversible bodily harm); incapacitated characters (dead, asleep, fully tied and gagged, incapable of doing anything to contribute to the scene); scat, vomit, sweat, musk (as a focus/kink). These, and some other things, I might agree to use sparingly, but most likely won't agree to have as a major or recurring part of the play.
-
Kinks: anything not in hard limits I'm open to at least consider, even if I end up rejecting it. I can dig up my kinklist if you ask for one - but I've found that for writing it's less useful than for IRL things, as what is an absolute limit in one story might be acceptable or even natural in another.
-
My posts are not a speed race: if the post is up, even hours - maybe even a day - after it's been posted, feel free to reach out. The worst that can happen is I tell you that I've found someone already.
-
If you want a writing sample, feel free to scroll through ads that I've posted - most of them have in-context starters. If you'd prefer one from the middle of the play, feel free to ask for one.
