Getting started:

1. Please read this post in its entirety.
2. After, feel free to introduce yourself in the comments below!
3. If you know someone who would like to join, please invite them!

What is the JeanMarco Solstice? The JeanMarco Solstice is a prompt-based event for the ship Jean x Marco from Attack on Titan. It is similar to JeanMarco Week, but not limited to one 7-day event during the year. Like the solstice, there will always be two events during the year: June during the summer solstice AND December during the winter solstice.

Who can join this subreddit? Anyone that appreciates the ship JeanMarco!

Posts here can fall under 2 main categories: Solstice content: content made specifically for the prompt events

All other content: anything not made specifically for the solstice prompt event, but related to JeanMarco. Even questions about the prompt event fall under all the other tags/flairs.

Main guidelines:

Problematic behaviors will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to: bullying, racism, homophobia, and transphobia. Please be respectful to one another.

Tag content appropriately.

Please do whatever you want to make this subreddit & the event accessible and fun!

Please do not reach out to the admin excessively. I will do my best to reply to JM Solstice specific questions. I did not create this event to make friends and will not use this blog for personal reasons. This blog is for promoting and discussing fan-made JeanMarco content.

These rules are subject to change.

Specific info about the solstice detailed below:

Who can participate? I encourage every JeanMarco fan to participate to keep this ship alive and well!

How can I participate? Post something you made! Any and all JeanMarco content is welcome. Examples include but are not limited to: drawings, animations, fanfiction, cosplay, video edits, and song playlists. Please make sure to use the event tags and tag the official event account on your post. Examples: #JMWeek2025 & #JeanMarcoWeek2025 were used for all 2025 events. #JMWS2025 & #JeanMarcoWinterSolstice2025 were used specifically for the 2025 winter solstice event.

What is a prompt event? A prompt event is a fandom event that has a list of ideas or themes listed for a specified amount of time for participants to make content/art. These prompts are inspiration for artists to create.

Can I post early or late? Both are allowed! However, please try to post on time on the designated dates.

What if I don’t use those sites or other social media/want to be anonymous? You can directly message me on any social media with a link/file of your piece for the event or use the Strawpage linked on the official event website for a simple drawing: https://jeanmarcosolstice.straw.page/

What if I don’t like the prompts? You don’t have to make a piece for the prompts, feel free to create JeanMarco content of whatever you’d like. However, please create something new for the event.

I have so many questions! Please ask me any and all questions; on this post, in my DMs, whatever works for you. Thank you!
