Noble Plains Uranium (NOBL.v NBLXF) Completes 148-Hole Duck Creek Program, Reports High-Grade Uranium Intercepts and Advances Toward Initial NI 43-101 Resource in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin

Posted on behalf of Noble Plains Uranium Corp. - Noble Plains Uranium Corp. (Ticker: NOBL.v or NBLXF for US investors) is a U.S.-focused uranium exploration and development company targeting ISR-amenable projects within established uranium districts.

The Company’s flagship Duck Creek Project, located in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin, has now reached a key milestone with the completion of a 148-hole drill program, positioning it toward delivering its first NI 43-101 compliant uranium resource expected this spring.

Program Overview and Scale
The completed program totalled 30,825 feet of drilling and represents a full-cycle progression from project acquisition through permitting and execution within approximately six months. The dataset generated is considered sufficient to support both geological continuity and future resource delineation efforts.

Key Outcomes From Drilling
Management outlined several core outcomes from the campaign:

  • Confirmation of historic drilling results across the project
  • Expansion of the known mineralized footprint
  • A 90.12% hit rate above the 0.02% eU₃O₈ cut-off grade

These results reinforce the interpretation of Duck Creek as a scalable uranium system suitable for ISR development.

High-Grade Intercepts From Final Results
The final batch of drill results returned some of the strongest intercepts of the entire program:

  • 17.5 feet grading 0.235% eU₃O₈
  • Including 2.0 feet at 1.00% eU₃O₈
  • And 1.0 foot at 1.49% eU₃O₈
  • 9.0 feet grading 0.228% eU₃O₈
  • Including 5.5 feet at 0.362% eU₃O₈
  • And 1.0 foot at 0.972% eU₃O₈

These intercepts occur within a laterally continuous roll-front system traced across the property, supporting the geological framework required for ISR extraction.

Geological Continuity and Expansion
Consistency across the drill program was identified as a central result. All planned confirmation holes successfully twinned historic drilling, and mineralization remained continuous as drilling advanced northward.

This continuity supports the Company’s recent 2.25-mile expansion of the project footprint and strengthens the interpretation of a broader mineralized corridor extending across Duck Creek.

Northern Extension and Regional Context
Drilling toward the northern portion of the property contributed to validating the expansion strategy. Several strong intercepts were encountered in this area, supporting the continuation of mineralization into newly staked claims.

These claims extend toward known uranium resources held by Uranium Energy Corp., placing Duck Creek within an established and productive regional uranium trend.

Deeper Exploration Potential
Additional drilling targeted deeper horizons within the Fort Union Formation:

  • Three deeper holes intersected multiple sand units
  • Thick intervals of coarse-grained host material were identified

While a roll-front system has not yet been confirmed at these depths, the results indicate favourable geological conditions and define a clear exploration opportunity.

To further evaluate this potential, the Company plans to collaborate with the University of Wyoming to test geophysical techniques aimed at identifying roll fronts at depth and improving drill targeting.

Next Steps Toward Resource Definition
With drilling now complete, Noble Plains has shifted its focus toward database compilation and geological modelling as it works toward defining its initial NI 43-101 compliant uranium resource at Duck Creek.
