Is this just a normal everyday thing?

So I don't know much about the lore in crimson/black desert but why is it that no NPCs react to us literally falling from the sky and just gliding everywhere? I get there are dragons, witches, and mechs but is it just normal for a human in that world to be doing all the stuff we can do? Especially our own comrades, the greymanes. I'm pretty sure we were just the run of the mill mercenary before we died and went to the abyss. How is none of our comrades questioning the things we do? I get I'm supposed to suspend my logic but I also feel like things should be grounded in the worlds setting.
