Help: what does a leak smell like?

There is a smell that I’m noticing coming from my vents that is especially strong when the AC kicks on. It smells like the pet urine cleaner my wife has used to clean up after our puppy. That agent’s smell is strong, chemically, and this smell from the vents is similar.

For those that have used pet urine cleaner before you probably remember the smell. Does it smell similar to leaking refrigerant? Out could the cleaner’s odor be in the system now and showing up when in use?

The system is producing cold air, for reference.
