Anyone else feeling a kind of intense sadness in addition to incredible excitement?

SpoilerShow Discussion

Seeing the new trailer was pretty incredible. I'm a 35 year old crusty jaded man, but the trailer made me tear up because of how it immediately brought me back to my childhood growing up with the books.

I am incredibly excited for this show. I think it's already looking pretty amazing and I have high hopes.

But at the same time, I'm feeling this intense feeling of dread and sadness knowing what is to come in the story.

I look at the young Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the trailer and I cannot help but feel just downright awful knowing the unrelenting pain and trauma they are in for.

I just think about this young Harry and how he's going to lose so much, and it really just breaks my heart. When the books and movies were coming out, I was just too young to appreciate how dark and painful the story really gets.

Now that I've lived enough life and experienced loss personally, I just feel this tightness in my chest when I think about where this show is going.

The Graveyard, Sirius, Hedwig, and more... I already feel like weeping lol.

Anyone else just a bundle of emotions after that trailer dropped? Already feeling like I need group therapy!
