Growing up, my mom always would make people move anywhere she wanted to sit. Specifically at dinners. I notice that she wants anywhere where she will feel like the center of attention. She even goes to the extent of telling hostess where she wants to sit

I find it so odd. I would never ask anyone to move because I want to sit where they are. That’s rude???
