question about ping in games

So we all know if say a na player paired with eu itll make eu player worse ping

but if im all the way in the pacific 180ish asia 250ish naeu ping, do i worsen the other players ping bc of how far away i am? or will it not affect them at all

asking bc when i play surv, i noticed sometimes a fellow surv pings a comically high ping. could be coincidence. bonus is im paired im with my duo whos in the same area. are we making everyone elses ping higher or is it unaffected? what abt when im hunter
