Tips for keeping track of planes with Beam Eye Tracking.
I’m pretty new to the game and am using Beam eye tracking and I find it very hard to keep track of planes when I’m close to them. It seems like about half the time when I’m chasing someone, I lose sight of them, especially in a scissor and end up needing to break off the attack since I have no clue where they are.
When I am able to track them once they move off the frontal view and up on the canopy, I find that I get very disoriented and often end up in an unfavorable position with my plane- going vertical and stalling or diving too much and losing firing position, or turning to much or too little. Same issue when I’m trying to look backwards.
I also find it way too jumpy when I’m zoomed in and trying to identify a plane. Trying to follow the plane usually results in the view jumping wildly and losing track of it until I zoom back out, at which point I lose time trying to reacquire it.
Are there any tips or configuration options for Beam that can help this?
