Help me pick a truck

Looking for a new to me truck. Trying to get the most bang for my buck. Under 10k is the goal. Would really like a crew cab long bed but would settle for as small as an extended cab short bed. Currently I’ve found a pretty clean 2003 quad cab short bed 5.4 f250 with the 5.4 with 160k on it for 7k. The same dealer has a nice 99 v10 extended cab long bed with 130k for 10k. The third truck in question is a 2017 f250 extended cab short bed 6.2 but it has 247k on it for 8900. Needs a couple parts as well. My landscaping buddy who runs fords is advising for the 6.2 even with the high mileage. What are your thoughts ?
