I wanted to share my resume and the process for me to maybe help someone. I received CJOs from American and Southwest. I applied on a whim for both just to do something different. With American I didn’t focus on the assessment too much and answered truthfully. I prepared a lot of the ODVI and wore a white sweater and used a headband to pull my hair back. At the F2F I made sure to really socialize with everyone and collaborate well on the group project. With WN’s ODVI I truly just breezed through it and admittedly didn’t feel like I did my best. At the F2F not only did I make sure to socialize with everyone before hand, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. When walking to the room for orientation (?) and the staff all had pom poms and dancing I danced with them until I made it in the room. It was SO uncomfortable for me to do but I think showing I could be fun and carefree helped in a way. I really emphasized my love for learning about others cultures and meeting new people from all walks of life. Also that Southwest’s values really aligned with mine and I made sure to have their core values/motto memorized to say during the interview. I ultimately have decided to take Southwest’s offer and start training soon. My biggest takeaway from my personal experience is that even the most basic resume can get you through, it truly is about personality and knowing what to say.
