Resetting server a second time

So I'm aware that collecting 256 items from the house in summerset resets the server. But it seems like people are able to repeat this more than once. How? After the first reset for me there is usually only like 80 or so books and I have to go to the golf course club house to finish collecting the necessary items. Is there a step I'm missing it between, or is this more or less what everyone does?
