class help?

So I haven't actually joined a campaign or anything yet, but I've been wanting to for a while. I've started thinking of ideas for a character, but im not really sure what class or even race to make her. Essentially, I want her to be a princess plagued by visions of the future, but I'd also be open to her having visions of the past or things happening in the present, depending on what my dm wants. I'm thinking I want it to be an innate thing, but I don't know if I want her to be a sorceror bc I don't know if I want her to study magic. I considered a cleric, but I wasn't sure how that would work since you don't get a domain until later. I considered making her just a plain ol human, but I wasn't sure if that was like too boring or something and I should make her something else.

I have so many thoughts, im just terrible at classifying them with what's given to me from the game. Let me know your thoughts!
