How to make actual money playing mobile games
One of the best mini side hustles I’ve found has been to play mobile games for cash, which I’ve done for probably the last five years-ish. It’s quite easy to dismiss this as an idea, thinking it wouldn’t be too profitable, but it has managed to make me thousands of pounds and it’s something I highly recommend to anyone wanting to make some side cash.
This has been massive for me for many years and has helped me through really hard times with some side money which has often paid for my meals or things like my gas/electric or even just items that I wanted once I had a bit more cash after uni. For full disclosure, I have ref links at the bottom but this post is designed to actually help people. I have another guide on matched betting on r/sidehustleuk and I will always be happy to answer a comment or DM about anything.

I’m currently typing on my MacBook Pro which was bought purely from mobile games (cashing out to Amazon vouchers), and I have my iPhone 16 Pro next to me which was bought the same way. These websites will give you a variety of ways of how to cash out your earnings such as straight cash, gift cards, Bitcoin and more. This isn't a gimmick and you can see my actual earnings when you click my aff links.
I personally spread my focus between many different websites, and look for the offers that give the best value for money.
I’ll link guides/or more info for all the games I mention below.
Below is a mini-guide of which games I focus on and what sites I use.
This is not just for UK and will work internationally too. You can cash out in different currencies/gift cards or crypto, whatever you prefer.

Currently the websites I focus on are Gemsloot and Swagbucks which have been the most profitable for me. For years, I would only focus on Swagbucks but these newer websites are slowly pushing it down the list of the best mobile games websites.
Some of these offers will encourage you to spend money within the game but 99.9% of the time I will not spend any money, obviously to increase the return I will get from the games. I’ve seen others say they spend a little to speed up the games but this is not something I’d do myself or encourage others to do.
______
Gemsloot:
A special shout out should go to Gemsloot which is a relatively new entrant to the market, but one that I am really enjoying currently and currently finding to be the most profitable.
The Raid Shadow Legends offer is actually a desktop only one, but for this game itself you can make up to £150 and there’s many guides online such as the one linked on this page that will help with getting the sacred shards.
The Enlisted and World of Warships offers are incredibly easy and take about 5 mins to complete each for about £5 for each offer.
The Call of Dragons, Rise of Kingdoms and Sea of Conquest offers are also games that I would recommend.
Finally, the Game of Thrones browser game offer I found really easy making about £40 in a week really casually playing. Ignore the Daenaerys/Jon Snow part of this offer as most say you have to pay to get this or be really lucky. Focus on levelling your HQ to 25 and then the Glory Level (save up your Honor Banners at every chance possible - being VIP10 helps as you can buy 5 daily from the VIP shop).

One of the best ways to check if a game is worth doing is literally to type the offer name and then Swagbucks into Google such as ‘Raid Shadow Legends Swagbucks’ or ‘Adventure Tales Swagbucks’ and seeing what the community is saying in regards to how easy it is to complete. You will likely not reach all the goals for most offers but if you are finding it a little tough, just move onto a new offer.
Again currently, Raid Shadow Legends, Rise of Kingdoms, Fish of Fortune and Sea of Conquest are what I’d recommend to play.

If you have multiple phones, you can complete the same offer on a different account. It can be hit and miss if you try and complete the same offer type on the same phone from a different website. Worth saying you can only have one account per household apart from Swagbucks which I believe allows up to three.
As always, I’m a new moderator to this subreddit and really want to see it grow. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below! I’d really appreciate if you use my affiliate links as it helps me out with a little cash too.
