Switching mobo and cabinet

Build Question

Hey guys,

My PC suddenly stopped working and I’m trying to figure out what to do next.

Specs:

  • Ryzen 5 5600G
  • RTX 3070
  • 16GB DDR4
  • HP OMEN 25L prebuilt (Hana motherboard)

Issue:
PC turns on (fans spin, GPU lights up), but no display and no response from keyboard/mouse.

I had it checked by some specialists and they said it’s most likely a dead motherboard.

So now I’m thinking of just replacing the motherboard and case and moving everything over to a normal setup (also kinda want to get out of the HP prebuilt situation anyway).

I also changed my CPU cooler a while ago, but it’s too big for my current case, so I’d like something where everything actually fits properly.

Right now I’m considering something like a Phanteks Eclipse G400A with an ASUS TUF B550-PLUS WIFI II.

- Are those fully compatible?
- Anything I should be aware of when moving parts from a prebuilt to a standard case/motherboard?

Appreciate any help 🙏
